Guests can enjoy self-guided game drives in the
comfort of their own vehicles - plains game that can be seen include kudu, zebra, hartebeest, klipspringer, impala,
blesbok, mountain reedbuck, springbok and various other smaller animals. Caracal,
Aardvark and porcupine are often
seen in the late afternoon.
The reserve is a birders' paradise with over 100 species recorded. Visit the
black eagles' nest and
experience the thrill of seeing these raptors hunt up close.

on the reserve, is the perfect place to cool off after an exhilarating hike. An interesting historical feature as it is believed
that this is where the last of the Karoo's hippos once roamed.
